Great Race 2011 coming up on the 27th of August bigger boats more boats, faster boats, one of the biggest years to come! This is one of the longest offshore powerboat races in the world. The race started at the Hyatt in Trinidad and finished in Scarborough in Tobago. The length was estimated to be 93.7 miles by the race officials but the actual course on the day clocked by boats GPS systems was around 99.6 miles. The water was quite flat so made for some fast times and a smooth crossing across the Atlantic Ocean. This video is from a camera in the first boca in Trinidad and a camera mounted on the race boat Blaze sponsored by Epice Skincare products.
